Baseplate

Three different plates. Three different shave experiences.

• Mild
  Forgiving and easy to use. Extremely low blade feel but more cutting power than its name suggests. Ideal for sensitive skin, frequent use, or anyone who prioritizes shaving comfort over maximum closeness.

• Standard
  The versatile all-rounder that balances smoothness, moderate blade feedback and controlled efficiency. A good daily shaving choice for most users whilst still being capable of a very close result.

• Efficient
  Designed for heavy growth and maximum reduction. Best suited to coarse beards, longer intervals between shaves or experienced users who want an exceptionally deep and lasting shave in fewer passes.

Surface finish variants

• Satin - uniform finish with a matte appearance across the entire part.
  This is our most durable surface finish. It is highly resilient and naturally hides minor wear and micro-scratches, such as those that might occur during travel, allowing the baseplate to maintain its original look over years of daily use.
  
  
• Polished - our signature finish which provides a clean, reflective appearance.
  Minor machining marks may still be present on polished parts. We intentionally do not use deep polishing, as we are not willing to sacrifice performance and our strict manufacturing tolerances for aesthetics.

Note that we intentionally do not brush baseplates. Due to their complex geometry, it is impossible to achieve a clean and homogeneous brushing pattern on these parts, making a smooth satin finish the ideal choice for a flawless look and the correct match for brushed caps and handles.
